Pitney Bowes is hiring for the role of Graduate Engineer Trainee!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
- Prepare and produce releases of software components.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. QA and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
- Track bugs raised by QA team and fix them.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience in software development
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing code as per requirement.
- Hands-on experience with writing good unit tests.
- Hands-on experience on Java, Springboot and React.Js is a must.
- Experience on AWS will be added advantage.
- Good to have knowledge of PostgresSQL.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
