Opportunity brief
About:
- Crewmate CTF is a 30-hour, inter-university Capture The Flag competition organized by the Centre for Privacy and Security in Emerging Technologies (CPSET), Chandigarh University, in collaboration with the OWASP Student Chapter. Designed as a hands-on cybersecurity challenge, the event brings together 150+ participants to test their technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, teamwork, and ability to think under pressure. - Participants will compete through four progressive phases featuring challenges across Cryptography, Web Exploitation, Digital Forensics, Reverse Engineering, Binary Exploitation, Steganography, Programming & Scripting, and OSINT. Each challenge requires participants to investigate, analyze, exploit, decode, automate, or otherwise solve a security problem to uncover hidden flags and earn points. The difficulty increases throughout the competition, moving from foundational problems to complex, multi-domain challenges. Crewmate_CTF
- Adding a competitive Among Us-inspired layer to the experience, teams will encounter elements such as emergency meetings, flag sharing, team interactions, and strategic moments built around the Crewmate theme. The theme complements the technical competition without taking away from its core focus: solving real cybersecurity problems, working effectively as a team, and climbing the leaderboard.
- Whether you are into web security, forensics, cryptography, reverse engineering, exploitation, OSINT, or scripting, Crewmate CTF provides a platform to put your skills to the test in a demanding 30-hour environment.
