Team Specifications

• Each team must consist of 2 members.
• Maximum 25 teams can participate in each part.

Teams must register on the official Cliffesto website before the deadline mentioned on the official website or communication channels.

Event Overview

Prashnotsav is a competitive quiz event designed to challenge participants across two engaging themes: Bollywood, Mythology and Sports, DC/Marvel. The event focuses on testing knowledge, analytical thinking and quick decision-making abilities in a competitive environment.

Event Themes

Quiz Part 1

• Bollywood: Movies, Music Albums, Web Series
• Indian Mythology: Mahabharat and Ramayana

Quiz Part 2

• Sports: Cricket, Badminton, Football, Chess
• Superhero Universe: Marvel, DC

Quiz Structure

Round 1 – The Gauntlet

• Total Teams: 25
• The round will consist of 25 questions, displayed through the projector.
• The first team to buzz will get the first opportunity to answer.
• If the first team gives an incorrect answer, only the second team to buzz will get an opportunity to answer.
• Once the second team has attempted the question, no further team will be allowed to answer.
• Marking: for the team who buzz first, +10 for correct answer and −5 for incorrect answer. For the team who buzz second, +5 and −5.
• Skipped questions will not be replaced; therefore, exactly 25 questions will be asked in the round, including skipped questions.
• A total of 10 teams with the highest scores will qualify for Round 2.
• In case of a tie between teams for a qualifying position, a Special Question Round will be conducted to determine the qualifying team.

Round 2 – Mystery Buzz

• Total Questions: 15
• Mystery Questions: 10
• This round will be conducted in buzzer format.
• First team pressing the buzzer answers first.
• If the first team answers incorrectly, the second buzzing team gets the chance.
• First Team Scoring: +10 for correct answer and −5 for incorrect answer.
• Second Team Scoring: +5 for correct answer and −2 for incorrect answer.
• Mystery Question Scoring: +15 for correct answer and −10 for incorrect answer.

Round 3

The format and rules of this round will be disclosed at the venue.

Mystery Questions

• Mystery questions may be asked at any time between the rounds.
• From 10 questions, 5 Mystery Questions will be identified and displayed as "Mystery Questions" before the question is attempted.
• For the remaining 5 Mystery Questions, the Mystery Question status will not be revealed in advance.
• These questions will be revealed as Mystery Questions only after the team has submitted its answer.

Lifelines

Audience Help

• A team may seek help from the audience.
• The scoring for audience help will remain the same as a normal question.

Pass Lifeline

• A team may pass the question to any team of their choice.
• The team passing the question will not gain or lose points.
• The receiving team must answer the question.
• Receiving Team: +10 for correct answer and −10 for incorrect answer.

Prize Pool

• Total Prize Pool: ₹16,000
• Quiz 1 – 1st Prize: ₹5,000
• Quiz 1 – 2nd Prize: ₹3,000
• Quiz 2 – 1st Prize: ₹5,000
• Quiz 2 – 2nd Prize: ₹3,000
