Opportunity brief

SUSTAIN-ATHON 2026-

Ideas That Care. Solutions That Last.

Think big. Solve real problems. Create lasting impact.

Are you ready to turn your ideas into solutions that can make a difference? SUSTAIN-ATHON 2026 invites Class XI students to identify real-world challenges and develop innovative, practical, and sustainable solutions using the SCAMPER technique.

From environmental sustainability and education to healthcare, community welfare, and other pressing challenges, explore how creative thinking can transform existing ideas into meaningful solutions.

Challenge Overview:

Participants must work in teams of 4 students, identify a relevant problem, and apply the SCAMPER technique to develop an original or improved solution. Your submission should demonstrate how your idea addresses the problem, how SCAMPER helped shape it, and what impact it could create.

SCAMPER encourages you to rethink solutions by Substituting, Combining, Adapting, Modifying, Putting to another use, Eliminating, and Reversing or Rearranging elements of an existing idea or approach.

What You Need to Submit:

Prepare a final presentation explaining your proposed solution. Your presentation should include:

  • Team Details: Team name and names of all four members, with one designated team leader.
  • Problem Statement: Clearly explain the real-world challenge you want to address and why it matters.
  • Proposed Solution: Describe your idea and how it solves or improves the existing situation.
  • Application of SCAMPER: Explain how you used the technique to develop or improve your solution.
  • Visual Representation: Include sketches, diagrams, a workflow, or other visuals to make your idea easy to understand.
  • Feasibility and Impact: Explain how your solution could be implemented, its expected benefits, and its potential sustainability or social impact.

You may present your solution through a PowerPoint presentation or a prototype that demonstrates how your idea works.

Event Format:

SUSTAIN-ATHON 2026 will follow a **single-round format**. Participants registering through Unstop will be invited directly to the campus round, where they will present their final solution. There is no separate school pre-qualifier round for these participants.

Date: 3 November 2026

Venue: Manav Rachna University, Faridabad

Duration: 4 hours

All four team members are expected to contribute to the solution and its presentation.
