Madras Management Association (MMA) is a not for profit entity established in 1956, celebrating innovation for over 15 years now. I am delighted to share that MMA Chennai is inviting application from eligible candidates for the *CavinKare - MMA Chinnikrishnan Innovation Awards 2026* which is completely free. Award carries cash prize of Rs One Lakh and a trophy I am sharing the Award brochure with links to apply in the following two categories: a) Innovation- category for product which is already in the market and commercially scalable. The applicant should have a turnover of less than Rs 50 crores b) Great Ideas- category for good ideas which have commercial viability in future, but need not be in the market currently , and no restriction of minimum or maximum turnover. What are we looking for in the awardees? Uniqueness – The product and/or service must be well-differentiated in terms of the value they would offer to customers and end-users. Scalability – The product and/or service must be capable of being scaled up and spread into their respective market within a reasonable time. Sustainability – The product and/or service must be sustainable. Benefits to people – They should provide proven short- and long-term benefits to end-users in a real-time scenario. The jury will distinguish between 'creative output' and 'innovation'. The latter should be demonstrated by either compelling evidence of market success and widespread use/application of the uniqueness of the product/service or business.
