We are inviting students to participate in an innovation challenge focused on using AI, technology, and emerging innovations to address challenges in Defence & National Security.
We are looking for curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and ideas that can make a real difference.
The Challenge
Think about how AI and emerging technologies can be used to strengthen India's defence and national security capabilities.
You can:
- Identify an existing challenge and propose a technology-led solution.
- Reimagine how an existing defence or security process could work better.
- Develop a completely new idea, product, or application.
- Explore how AI can improve intelligence, surveillance, safety, operations, or decision-making.
Your idea can be at the concept, prototype, or early development stage.
What Makes a Great Idea?
We will look for ideas that are:
- Innovative — Brings a new approach to an existing problem or addresses a new opportunity.
- Practical — Can realistically be developed or implemented.
- Technology-led — Uses AI, data, automation, or emerging technologies meaningfully.
- Scalable — Has the potential to create impact at scale.
- Impactful — Addresses a meaningful real-world need.
Selection Process
Idea Submission
Submit your proposed solution in a short presentation covering the problem, idea, technology, implementation, and potential impact.
Shortlisting
Submissions will be evaluated based on problem understanding, innovation, feasibility, use of technology, and potential impact.
The strongest ideas will be shortlisted for the next round.
Presentation Round
Shortlisted participants will present their ideas to a panel of experts.
Final Selection
The winner will be selected based on the quality of the idea, presentation, feasibility, innovation, and potential real-world impact.
Win Up to ₹5,000
But the opportunity goes beyond the prize.
We are already working with government bodies and institutional partners on multiple technology and innovation projects.
Based on the quality and feasibility of the ideas, selected participants may get opportunities to:
- Explore or develop their idea further for a live project.
- Work on a real-world project with our team and partners.
- Get an internship opportunity with the team.
- Receive a Certificate of Participation.
- Receive a Certificate of Achievement for shortlisted and winning teams.
Eligibility
- Open to MBA/PGDM students currently enrolled in a recognised college or university.
- Participants can register individually or as a team of 2–5 students.
- The idea submitted must be original and developed by the participating team.
