Competition Format:
Participants will take part in a business analytics simulation where they will act as an airline planning team.
The challenge will require teams to:
- Analyze historical airline and passenger data
- Forecast passenger demand
- Evaluate the impact of ticket prices and seat capacity
- Respond to changing market conditions
- Make strategic, data-driven decisions
- Balance demand, capacity, pricing, and business performance
- Compete against other teams in a dynamic simulation environment
The team that demonstrates the strongest combination of analytical thinking, forecasting accuracy, strategic decision-making, and business performance will emerge as the winner.
Competition Schedule:
- Game Date: 27 September 2026 (Sunday)
- Registration Deadline: 23 September 2026 (Sunday), 9:00 PM
Rulebook & Detailed Instructions:
The detailed rulebook, simulation guidelines, reporting instructions, and other relevant information will be shared with registered participants before the competition.
Registration Process:
- Participants must register as a team of 2 to 3 members.
- Both team members must complete the required registration process.
- Participants are advised to provide accurate and authentic information during registration.
- Further instructions regarding the simulation platform and participation process will be communicated to registered teams.
Awards:
- Winner Team: ₹35,000 Cash Prize
- 1st Runner-Up: ₹25,000 Cash Prize
- 2nd Runner-Up: ₹20,000 Cash Prize
Guidelines:
- Participation is strictly in teams of 2-3 members.
- Each participant can be part of only one team.
- Teams must complete the registration process within the specified deadline.
- Participants must ensure a stable internet connection throughout the simulation.
- Teams must follow all instructions provided by the Organising Committee.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring their availability during the designated simulation window.
- The detailed simulation process, evaluation methodology, and platform instructions will be communicated before the event.
Rules:
- Any form of collaboration with teams other than the registered teammate is strictly prohibited.
- Participants must use authentic information during registration.
- Impersonation, plagiarism, manipulation of data, or use of unfair means will result in immediate disqualification.
- Teams must participate using the details provided during registration.
- The Organising Committee reserves the right to verify participant credentials at any stage.
- Any violation of the competition rules may lead to disqualification.
- Decisions of the Organising Committee and Judging Panel regarding evaluation, rankings, qualification, and winners shall be final and binding.
- The Organising Committee reserves the right to modify the schedule, format, or rules in case of unavoidable circumstances.
