About the Company
KaroStartup Technology India Pvt Ltd is looking for a talented and driven SMO/SEO Executive Intern to join our team in Bengaluru. We are seeking an individual with a passion for digital marketing, eager to gain hands-on experience in social media management and search engine optimization.
Responsibilities
- Social Media Management (SMO): Manage and grow KaroStartup's social handles across Twitter/X, Facebook, and Instagram. Plan and maintain a consistent posting calendar, ensuring no missed days or delayed uploads. Write and adapt captions for each platform, matching KaroStartup's tone and voice. Conduct content research to identify trending and relevant topics. Identify and execute growth tactics specific to each platform. Track engagement and growth metrics across all handles and adjust posting strategy based on performance.
- SEO & Blog Management: Write and publish blogs on a consistent, reliable schedule. Conduct keyword research to identify topics and terms worth targeting. Optimize blog content for on-page SEO, including titles, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking. Track and work to steadily grow overall website traffic month over month. Monitor website SEO performance (rankings, organic traffic, page performance) and report on progress.
Requirements
- Practical experience managing social media handles across Twitter/X, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content structuring for search.
- Strong writing skills for both social captions and longer-form blog content.
- Highly organized and reliable, comfortable owning a posting/publishing calendar and ensuring timely execution.
- Understanding of platform-specific growth tactics, recognizing that strategies differ across platforms like Twitter and Instagram.
- Based in Bengaluru or willing to work hybrid from Bengaluru.
