Opportunity brief
About the Company: Ioza Learning isn't just another EdTech startup. It exists because the system failed—and continues to fail—millions of young people. India teaches trigonometry before consent, reproduction before relationships, and silence before safety. Ioza is building a future where every child grows up with the knowledge to understand their body, respect boundaries, make informed decisions, and stay safe. What We Do: Ioza delivers preventive safety education through: School workshops. Parent awareness sessions. Educator training. Age-appropriate, research-backed curriculum for students aged 8–18. Our programs cover topics such as puberty, consent, healthy relationships, body image, menstrual education, personal safety, and digital safety—before misinformation fills the gap. About the Role: We're looking for energetic and driven interns to join our School Partnerships team. Your role is simple but critical—you'll help us connect with schools, initiate conversations, and schedule meetings that enable our founders to build long-term partnerships. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in sales, business development, entrepreneurship, or working in an early-stage startup. Responsibilities of the Intern: Research schools and build outreach lists. Call school authorities to introduce Ioza's programs. Send professional emails and follow-up messages. Schedule meetings for the founding team. Maintain and update outreach records using CRM or Google Sheets. Build relationships with school decision-makers. Occasionally visit schools for meetings or events, when required. Requirements: Excellent communication skills. Comfortable speaking with people over phone calls. Proactive, disciplined, and goal-oriented. Interested in gaining hands-on startup experience. Ability to work independently from home. Familiarity with Google Workspace, basic CRM tools, and Slack. What You Will Learn: B2B Sales. Business Development. Client Relationship Management. Cold Calling and Email Outreach. Negotiation. Professional Communication. Startup Operations. Partnership Development. Benefits: Monthly stipend of ₹1,000, with the possibility of an increment based on performance. Performance-based incentives of ₹200–300 per qualified meeting, along with 2%–5% of the net revenue from any school that signs up through the intern's lead. Flexible part-time, work-from-home opportunity. Internship Certificate. Letter of Recommendation. Direct mentorship from the founders. If you're excited about building something meaningful and want to help transform safety education in India, we'd love to hear from you.
