About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical intern to join our Market Intelligence & Competitive Strategy function.
The role involves conducting structured research across the internship, recruitment, career-tech, HR-tech, and student ecosystem to understand market dynamics, competitor strategies, business models, monetization approaches, product positioning, and emerging opportunities.
Your research will be used to support strategic planning and business decisions across InternKhojo.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and monitor direct, indirect, and emerging competitors.
- Conduct detailed competitive intelligence across relevant platforms and businesses.
- Analyze competitor products, features, positioning, and user experience.
- Map complete student and recruiter workflows across competing platforms.
- Analyze how competitors acquire students, companies, recruiters, and other stakeholders.
- Research business models and monetization strategies.
- Analyze publicly available pricing, subscriptions, commissions, advertising, premium offerings, and other revenue streams.
- Study competitor marketing, content, partnerships, community, and distribution strategies.
- Track product launches, feature changes, partnerships, funding activity, and significant market developments.
- Research competitor target segments and value propositions.
- Identify competitive advantages, weaknesses, gaps, and differentiation opportunities.
- Conduct broader market research across recruitment, internships, HR-tech, career-tech, and related sectors.
- Identify emerging trends, business opportunities, and potential threats.
- Develop structured competitor benchmarking frameworks.
- Maintain comprehensive research databases and intelligence reports.
- Convert research findings into concise, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Present findings in a structured format to support business and product decisions.
