Theme:
The Game of Nations: Access to education, the effectiveness of the Security Council, and the dominance of the dollar are all shifting, and each reflects the same tension between national self-interest and collective stability. This year's theme asks delegates to think about what rules should replace the old arrangements as they weaken.
Committees and Agendas:
All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM):
Agenda: The Right to Learn, The Fight for a Seat
Access to education has become one of the most contested issues in India, with millions of students competing for a limited number of seats. Delegates will debate reservation and merit, the cost of coaching and private education, the rural-urban and digital divide, and how well the Right to Education works in practice.
United Nations Security Council (UNSC):
Agenda: The Middle East Crisis: Veto Power and UNSC Effectiveness
Repeated use of the veto by permanent members has left the Council divided on the Middle East crisis and raised questions about its relevance. Delegates will discuss whether the veto should be reformed, how to balance humanitarian access with state sovereignty, and whether expanding the Council can restore its credibility.
G20:
Agenda: De-dollarisation: A New Global Financial Order or a New Global Divide?
More economies, especially in BRICS and the Global South, are looking to trade in local currencies and depend less on the US dollar. Delegates will debate whether this leads to a fairer, multipolar financial system or splits the global economy, and what it means for developing countries.
International Press (IP):
Press delegates don't debate a fixed agenda. Instead, they take on the role of journalists whose job is to question rather than report, pressing delegates on their statements and holding them accountable for their country's positions throughout the conference.
