Opportunity brief
Finacea, IMT Hyderabad's Finance club, presents Prakshepan - Analyze, Forecast, and Pitch. It's a great platform to encourage students interested in finance, promote financial literacy, provide networking opportunities, and spread awareness of financial issues.
Guidelines:
- Prakshepan is a three-round competition.
- The first round is an online quiz conducted on Unstop, after which the qualified participants will advance to the next round.
- In the second round, the shortlisted candidates will be assigned companies and industries. They must submit an in-depth and detailed report that analyzes the industry and the company(topics to be covered are already shared via email). The candidate must submit a PDF report and a 7-slide PowerPoint presentation by November 26, 11:59 PM. The candidates must strictly follow and restrict their report(PDF) and PPT to the topics already shared via email.
- In the third and final round, the shortlisted candidates will be required to perform a detailed Financial Statement Analysis, along with projections for a maximum of 2-3 years, using historical data (Topics to be covered will be shared by the host), a Valuation Model, and an Investment thesis (Buy/Sell). The final round will be an in-campus and offline presentation round, serving as the decisive stage to determine the overall winners. The Final Round will be held on December 5th. The Deliverables for the last round are a PPT (max. 15 slides), a PDF (max. 30 pages), and an Excel file (for the Valuation Model).
Rules:
- Only B-School students are eligible
- All team members should be from the same college
- The competition is open to students in their first and second years
- For all the rounds, the team will be required to submit only one submission
- A participant can only be a member of one team
- The registration deadline is November 19th, 2026, at 11:59 PM
- In case of any discrepancy, the decision of Finacea, the finance club of IMT-H, would be final.
