Opportunity brief
Episteme is an intercollegiate competition for all operations enthusiasts, conducted by Opuskriya – The Operations Club of IMT Hyderabad, as a part of the annual management fest, IMPELZ. This event offers participants the opportunity to showcase their operational excellence by providing unique and feasible solutions to the dilemmas depicted in the case study.
Event Timeline
- Form Closure: 22nd November 2026, 11:59 PM - Quiz Window: 23rd November 2026, 12:00 PM - 24th November 2026, 11:59 PM - Result Announcement & Case Release: 26th November 2026 - Case Presentation Round: 5th December 2026 (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Eligibility:
- Team size: Minimum 1 member and maximum 2 members.
- Each member must register with their official college email ID.
- Cross-college teams are not allowed.
- Cross-year teams from the same college are eligible.
- A student can only be part of one team.
- All decisions related to eligibility are at the discretion of the event organizers.
- The decision of the judges is final and binding on all teams.
Event Structure:
Round 1: Online Quiz
- Test your knowledge in operations and supply chain management with a 20-question MCQ quiz.
- Timely and precise answers may earn bonus points.
- Only the Team Leader will attempt the quiz, with assistance from other team members.
- This round is mandatory for all registered teams.
- The top 30 teams will move to the next round.
Round 2: Case Study Presentation
- The selected teams will receive a case study and are required to prepare their solutions using a PowerPoint presentation or any tool of their choice.
- Round 2 - Submission of presentation from 27 November 2026 (11:00 AM) - 04 December 2026, (11:59 PM)
Final Round Details:
- Date: 5th December 2026
- Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Mode: Hybrid
- Dress Code: Business Formals
Guidelines for Case Study Presentation:
- Understand the Case Study: Go through the case material thoroughly before preparing your solution.
- Professional Attire: Dress in business formals and be prepared to present to a panel of judges.
- Time Limit: Each team will have 20 minutes to present.
