About The Guesstimate League:

  • The Guesstimate League is the flagship problem-solving competition of Rendezvous'25, organized by the Business and Consulting Club, IIT Delhi.
  • The event is designed to test analytical thinking, logical structuring, and business intuition through real-world guesstimate problems.
  • Participants will be challenged to think on their feet, make reasonable assumptions, and derive practical solutions under time pressure.

Event Flow:

  • Round 1 (Online Submission):
  • Problem Statement live on 16th September 2026 00:00 - 20th September 2026 23:59 Hrs
  • You will be presented with a set of Guesstimate Problems out of which you have to submit a one-page document solution showcasing your detailed approach, structure, sanity check as well as real life data to support your answer
  • Top 20 teams will qualify
  • Round 2 (Offline at IIT Delhi):
  • Date – 30th September 2026
  • Venue – LHC at IIT Delhi (Further Details will be communicated to selected candidates)
  • The event will feature Group Discussions and Personal Interviews designed to assess your presence of mind, problem-solving ability, and thought process.
  • A distinguished panel of judges will evaluate the participants, and the top 3 performers will be awarded.

Prizes:

  • Winner: Prizes worth 15000
  • 1st Runner-up: Prizes worth 10000
  • 2nd Runner-up: Prizes worth 5000

Guidelines:

  • Event Authority: BRCA, IIT Delhi reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, postpone, or amend the event/competition under unforeseen circumstances, and may alter prize money before commencement.
  • Code of Conduct: Any form of plagiarism in document submissions will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Final Decisions: Deadlines are entry-dependent, and in all matters of disputes or judgments, the decisions of the organisers, jury, and judges will be final and binding.
