Opportunity brief
A real-world-style case from the agri-food value chain (farm to fork). Postgraduate teams are expected to show greater depth, strategic thinking, and use of relevant concepts while analyzing the case and providing structured, justified, and practical recommendations addressing innovation, sustainability, and resilience.
Guidelines & Format:
- Conducted in 2 rounds: Online Written Submission (Round 1) and Live Online Presentation via Google Meet for top 5 qualifying teams (Round 2).
- Round 1 Deliverables (Due 12 October 2026, 11:59 PM IST):

- Presentation deck: PDF or PPT format, maximum 12 slides (title and reference slides excluded). - Write-up document: PDF format, maximum 5 pages of A4 at 11-point font size (cover page and references excluded).
- Team Eligibility: Postgraduate (PG) students only. All 3 team members must be PG (mixed UG-PG teams are not eligible). - Inter-college Team Members: Not Allowed. - Inter-specialization Team Members: Allowed. - Problem Statements / Case Drop: Agri-food value chain case study released on 9 October 2026, at 10:00 AM IST. - Duration of Rounds: Written submission period (9–12 October 2026); Live presentation round (8-minute presentation followed by 4 minutes of Q&A on 16 October 2026).
Rules:
- Public sources may be used and must be cited in APA 7th edition format; paid/restricted databases are prohibited.
- Plagiarism limit: Similarity of 20% or more without proper attribution will be treated as plagiarism.
