Opportunity brief
Optaqon 6.0 is the flagship case competition conducted by the operations club of IIM Visakhapatnam. It is the part of annual business conclave Vriddhi 8.0. The competition will test your in-depth knowledge in the field of operations, supply chain, and logistics. It tests your analytical skills and also your general awareness of the current world. If you are OP Fanatic, dive into the realm of OPTAQON 6.0 and put your skills to the test.
Eligibility Criteria & Guidelines:
- Students pursuing an MBA, either in their first or second year can apply for the competition.
- Students from any domain of MBA can apply.
- There is no age limit.
- Cross-year teams are allowed i.e., a team can have 1st and 2nd year students combined.
- Students should qualify for the lower round to get promoted to the next one.
- Participants have to register for the case competition on the unstop platform.
- Case competition involves 3 Rounds. 1st round is a quiz round, conducted on 11th November, 26. Round 2 will be case submission(3 slides) and it will be open from 12th November onwards. Final round will be a submission and online presentation of the detailed PPT(8 slides). Final presentation will be on 24th November, 26
- The quizzes and cases will be focused on operations, supply chain, and logistics.
Rules:
- The decision made by the organizing committee and jury is final and binding. In case of any issues, the participants may contact the organizing team.
- The organizing committee has the right to shift the dates of the event. In case of any issues, the decision will be made solely by the committee.
- If the organizing committee suspects any malpractice by any of the teams it has the right to disqualify them.
