Competition Schedule
Round 1: Quiz
Kickstart your journey with a fast-paced quiz testing your grasp of core financial and capital market concepts. Expect questions that challenge both speed and understanding — setting the tone for deeper analysis ahead.
- Date: 11th November (09:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
Round 2: Technical Analysis
Teams will conduct a comprehensive analysis of five prominent stocks (ITC, NTPC, JSW Steel, TMPV, and SBI Bank) The task is to submit a concise, visually impactful report, with a maximum limit of four pages (Excluding Introduction page).
- Your forecasted closing prices of the stocks for 20th November Friday 15:30:00
- A clear methodology supported by Technical Analysis tools, chart patterns, and rationale
- Sharp, actionable insights presented in a professional format
Evaluation Criteria:
Accuracy of predictions, clarity of methodology, sophistication of technical tools used, and report presentation quality.
- Submission Window: 12th November (1:00 AM) – 18th November (EOD)
Bonus Segment: Social Media Buzz
Additionally, teams can now grab additional spotlights and prizes through the Visual Excellence Award. Visually stunning, creative, and well-presented reports will be featured on the Sunrise Investment Club's Instagram page. The top two posts garnering the highest engagement (no bot activity or any form of artificial engagement) will win cash prizes of ₹2,000 and ₹1,000, respectively.
Rules:
- Registration Deadline: 10th November 2026, 11:59 PM
- Eligibility: Open to all undergraduate, MBA students, and postgraduate students
- Each team should have a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 participants
- File format: PDF
- Visuals must be embedded and appropriately labeled
- All submissions must be original. Plagiarized content will result in disqualification
- All decisions regarding eligibility and final judgment shall rest with the Sunrise Investment Fund team and esteemed faculty of IIM Visakhapatnam
- Only the team leader, the person who registered the team, will be able to make a submission
