Opportunity brief
About the Opportunity
ProdCraft is a flagship Product Management case competition organized by ProdCast, the Product Management Club of IIM Udaipur, as part of Solaris. The competition is structured across three stages to evaluate participants on core Product Management concepts, data-driven analytical problem-solving, and live product presentation skills.
Guidelines
- Eligibility: Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Inter-College Teams: Inter-college team members are allowed.
- Inter-Specialization Teams: Inter-specialization team members are allowed.
- Team Size: Teams can consist of 1 to 3 members.
Structure and Rounds
Round 1: Product Management Quiz
- Format: Online Quiz.
- Number of Questions: 20 questions covering core Product Management concepts, principles, and frameworks.
- Duration: 20 minutes.
- Progression: The top 50 to 60 performing teams will qualify for Round 2.
Round 2: Product Case Challenge (CRED Case)
- Format: Case Analysis and Deck Submission.
- Case Theme: CRED: Driving Monthly Active Usage (MAU) & Feature Adoption.
- Number of Problem Statements: 1 case challenge featuring a user-level dataset focused on user engagement, cross-feature adoption, and product-led interventions.
- Duration: 5 to 7 days for case analysis and submission.
- Progression: The top 5 to 7 submissions will qualify for the Grand Finale.
Round 3: Product Pitch Grand Finale
- Format: Live Presentation and Panel Q&A.
- Duration: 15 minutes per team (10-minute pitch followed by 5-minute Q&A).
- Outcome: Final winners will be declared based on presentation quality, product depth, data utilization, and Q&A defense.
Rules
- Each participant can be a part of only one team.
- Plagiarism or copying solutions from other teams will result in immediate disqualification.
- Submissions made after the stipulated deadlines will not be evaluated.
- All decisions taken by the organizing team and panel of judges will be final and binding on all participants.
- Any modification to team details after registration closure will not be entertained.
