Opportunity brief

About the Program

For seven months, you'll help bring E-Cell, IBS Hyderabad's entrepreneurship events and learning opportunities to your campus. You'll have a mentor to guide you and practical learning modules to work through as you go. The program is free, takes only a few hours a week, and can fit around your classes. You don't need to have been an ambassador before.

What You'll Do

  • Let students on your campus know about E-Cell events, competitions, and learning opportunities.
  • Help classmates find activities they're interested in and encourage them to get involved.
  • Get to know the clubs, departments, and student groups that make up your campus community.
  • Help spread the word about entrepreneurship sessions, meet-ups, and events at your institution.
  • Stay connected with your mentor, keep track of what you've done, and share what students on your campus are saying.

How the Program Benefits You

  • Pick up useful skills. The learning modules cover personal branding and LinkedIn, social media and community growth, AI tools, marketing, sales, public speaking, and pitching. You'll have chances to put those ideas into practice.
  • Build experience you can talk about. You'll have real outreach, event promotion, and community-building work to draw on when you update your CV or talk about yourself in applications and interviews.
  • Meet people beyond your campus. Connect with student leaders at other colleges and get opportunities to meet founders, venture capitalists, and industry professionals.
  • Get support as you go. Your mentor can help you find your feet, and you'll get to take part in E-Cell initiatives. There may also be opportunities to be featured on E-Cell's social media.
  • Have something to show for your effort. You'll receive a Campus Ambassador kit with an official badge, customised pen, and E-Cell booklet. If you complete the program and meet the credit requirement, you'll receive a certificate. A Letter of Recommendation is also listed among the program's recognition benefits.
