About the event:
One wrong tap can empty a bank account. SHIELD-UP 2K26: The Cyber Quiz, presented by DOT Club and Gray Matters Club of IBS Hyderabad with Prayaas as Outreach Partner, tests how well you can spot the scam before it spots you.
In 15 fast-paced minutes, answer 45 questions on the scams students face every day: fake parcel texts, "digital arrest" calls, OTP and UPI frauds, fake job offers, phishing links, weak passwords and ransomware. No coding or technical background needed, just sharp instincts and street-smart cyber sense.
Warm up for free on CyberShield Academy (cybershield-dotclub.vercel.app), DOT Club's cybersecurity awareness game. The top 3 get merit certificates, and every participant gets an e-certificate.
Rules and guidelines:
General:
- Individual participation only; one registration per person on Unstop.
- Open to all UG and PG students with a valid college ID; winners must share it for verification.
- Use your own name and college exactly as you want them printed on the certificate.
- The organisers' decision is final in all matters.
Round 1 (Online Quiz):
- The quiz is open from 7:00 to 10:00 PM IST on 24 Oct 2026. Start any time before 9:45 PM; once started, you get 15 minutes and one attempt.
- 45 MCQs, 15 minutes, one correct answer each. Questions appear one at a time and you cannot go back.
- +2 marks per correct answer, no negative marking.
- Ties are broken by the lower total time taken.
- Switching tabs or windows is tracked; 3 switches auto-submit your quiz.
- Use of AI tools, search engines, or help from others leads to disqualification.
- Use a laptop or phone with a stable internet connection. Organisers are not responsible for network or device issues.
- Results will be announced on Unstop by 26 Oct 2026.
