Opportunity brief
Overview
One crisis. Conflicting priorities. No easy answers. Step into the shoes of a company's leadership team, navigate an evolving business crisis, and make strategic decisions while balancing financial, operational, customer, and reputational risks.
Damage Control is a team-based crisis management, public relations, and strategic decision-making challenge.
Each team represents the leadership of a company facing a developing crisis. Participants take on different roles, analyse the situation from their assigned perspectives, and work together to decide the best course of action. Just when a strategy seems settled, new developments may force teams to reconsider their decisions.
Teams must balance business priorities, manage uncertainty, respond to external pressure, and defend their decisions when challenged. The focus is on how effectively participants work together, evaluate trade-offs, and adapt when circumstances change.
