Opportunity brief
Overview
Every failed business has a story. Can you rewrite it? Analyse a real-world business failure, uncover what went wrong, and design a practical strategy to give the business a fresh start.
Re-Route is an individual business analysis and redesign challenge that tests participants' ability to think critically, identify problems, and develop innovative solutions.
Participants will analyse a real failed business or startup, investigate the reasons behind its failure, and propose a strategic pivot that could improve its chances of success. From rethinking the target market and pricing strategy to redesigning the business model, participants must demonstrate that they can turn setbacks into opportunities.
The challenge is not simply to identify what went wrong, but to build a practical, well-reasoned plan for what comes next.
