About the Company: EDXSO is seeking a proactive and creative Video Editing Intern to contribute to our growing portfolio of video projects. If you have a foundational understanding of video editing and are eager to apply your skills to create impactful content, this role is for you. You will work on various video formats, from social media clips to promotional content, honing your technical and creative abilities. Responsibilities: Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content suitable for various digital platforms. Incorporate motion graphics, titles, and lower thirds effectively to enhance visual appeal. Select and integrate appropriate background music, sound effects, and voice-overs to complement video narratives. Ensure brand consistency and adherence to style guides in all video outputs. Implement feedback from senior editors and stakeholders efficiently and proactively. Manage project files and assets to maintain an organized and efficient workflow. Requirements: Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve). Basic understanding of video production principles, including pacing, timing, and visual storytelling. Familiarity with color correction and basic audio mixing techniques. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality. A portfolio or examples of personal video projects demonstrating your editing capabilities are highly recommended. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Film Production, Media Studies, Communication, or a related creative field. Some prior experience with video editing (e.g., coursework projects, personal projects, or student media work). Must be able to commit to the duration of the internship and the office visits on alternate Saturdays.
