Opportunity brief

About Dezainahub:

  • Dezainahub is one of the leading IT firms in Delhi-NCR, building for brands that hate looking small.
  • We work with ambitious businesses to build stronger brands and digital experiences through branding, UI/UX, technology, content, and creative production.
  • We're not interested in creating content just for the sake of filling a social media calendar.
  • We care about how a brand looks, feels, communicates, and is remembered.
  • And that's where you come in.

Internship Details:

  • Position: Video Editor Intern
  • Duration: 3 Months
  • Type: Full-Time Internship
  • Stipend: ₹5,000/month
  • Work Mode: Work From Home
  • On-Site: Preferred for candidates based in Delhi-NCR
  • Location: Delhi-NCR preferred for on-site collaboration

About the Role:

  • We're looking for a Video Editor Intern who understands that editing is more than simply cutting clips together, adding transitions, and following a preset.
  • We want someone who can think.
  • Someone who can look at raw footage and ask:
  • "How can I make this feel better?"
  • You'll work on real brand and marketing projects, experimenting with editing styles, pacing, storytelling, colour, motion, sound, transitions, compositions, and visual treatments.
  • You'll also get exposure to how creative decisions are made when the work needs to serve an actual brand and business objective.

What You'll Work On:

  • Editing short-form videos, reels, social media content, promotional videos, and brand content.
  • Working with raw footage and transforming it into engaging visual stories.
  • Understanding a brand's visual language and editing according to its guidelines.
  • Applying appropriate typography, colours, transitions, effects, and motion.
  • Colour correction and creative colour grading.
  • Experimenting with pacing, cuts, music, sound design, and visual storytelling.
  • Creating different versions of an edit and testing what works better.
  • Working with footage from different cameras, formats, and shooting environments.
  • Adding motion graphics and visual effects where appropriate.
  • Collaborating with designers and the creative team.
  • Taking feedback, making iterations, and improving the final output.
  • Exploring new editing techniques, references, trends, and creative approaches.
  • Helping develop new visual styles for different brands and campaigns.

What We're Looking For:

We don't want someone who simply knows where every button in Premiere Pro is.

We want someone who knows why they are pressing it.

You should:

  • Understand basic design and visual communication principles.
  • Have a good understanding of composition, hierarchy, typography, colour, and visual balance.
  • Be able to edit according to brand guidelines.
  • Have a strong creative instinct and willingness to use your own brain.
  • Be comfortable experimenting instead of blindly following rules.
  • Have a strong appetite for trial, testing, experimentation, and iteration.
  • Have an interest in colour correction and colour grading.
  • Enjoy playing with footage, pacing, transitions, sound, and visual treatments.
  • Be able to understand the difference between a trend and something that actually works for a brand.
  • Be comfortable receiving feedback and improving your work.
  • Be professional and serious about commitments.
  • Be reliable and sincere with assigned work.
  • Have the patience to work through multiple iterations when required.
  • Be curious enough to learn things you've never worked with before.

Most Importantly:

Don't just execute instructions. Think about the output.

If someone tells you to make something one way and you can genuinely think of a better way to achieve the objective, we want you to bring that idea to the table.

Software Skills:

Required:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Basic understanding of professional video editing workflows.

Good to Have:

  • Adobe After Effects.
  • Motion graphics.
  • Basic animation.
  • Sound design.
  • Photoshop / Illustrator.
  • DaVinci Resolve or other editing/colour-grading tools.
  • Other creative tools you're comfortable experimenting with.

You don't need to know every software mentioned above.

Strong creative thinking + willingness to learn > a long software list.

Who Should NOT Apply:

Please don't apply if you're:

  • Looking for a short-term time-pass internship.
  • Only interested in getting a certificate.
  • Someone who needs to be spoon-fed every single step.
  • Uncomfortable trying things outside what you've already learned.
  • Extremely conservative about creative experimentation.
  • Someone who believes "this is how we were taught" is the end of the conversation.
  • Not enthusiastic about understanding how brands and businesses actually work.
  • Uncomfortable with feedback and iterations.
  • Inconsistent with commitments or deadlines.
  • Someone who loses interest when the work requires patience.
  • Looking for a role where you simply receive instructions, execute them, and leave.

This is not a role for someone looking to complete an internship requirement and move on.

Who Should Apply:

You should apply if you're crazy enough to experiment.

If you're someone who:

  • Has the patience to learn and improve.
  • Gets excited about making something look better.
  • Likes testing "what if we try this?"
  • Wants to understand how creative work functions in the real world.
  • Wants to work with actual brands and real business requirements.
  • Is willing to step outside their comfort zone.
  • Wants to learn from a team rather than just a course.
  • Can take ownership of their work.
  • Wants their creative work to actually be seen and used.
  • Is ambitious enough to want to build something bigger than their resume.

You don't have to know everything.

You just need to be curious enough to keep learning, patient enough to keep improving, and crazy enough to try something new.

What You'll Get:

During the 3-month internship, you'll get:

  • Real-world experience working on actual brand and business projects.
  • Exposure to professional video production and editing workflows.
  • Experience working within real brand guidelines.
  • Opportunity to experiment with different editing and visual styles.
  • Direct feedback from the creative and founding team.
  • Exposure to the business side of creative work.
  • Opportunity to work with different brands, industries, and creative requirements.
  • Certificate of Completion upon successful completion.
  • Letter of Recommendation (LOR) based on performance.
  • The opportunity to build work that can actually become part of your creative portfolio.
  • A chance to work closely with the Dezainahub founding team.

And most importantly—

You'll witness the journey from the inside.

  • We're building a team that wants to create work people remember, challenge how brands present themselves, and build something that stands out in the market.
  • If you're crazy enough to learn, experiment, stay patient, and build with us, you won't just be an intern watching from the sidelines.
  • You'll be part of the team building Dezainahub.
  • One Thing We Value Heavily:
  • Reliability.
  • Creative talent is important.
  • But if you can't be trusted with a commitment, a deadline, or a piece of work—you won't be the right fit.
  • We're looking for people who are creative, curious, disciplined, sincere, and hungry to become better.
  • If that sounds like you, we want to see your work.
