Burns & McDonnell is hiring for the role of Trainee Electrical Engineer - 2027 Batch Campus Recruitment (WTR - Electrical)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

- You'll be joining the ranks of our Water (WTR) Global practice, which provides engineering and design round-the-clock support to our US offices since 2020. - You'll report to department manager, and you will be working on exciting projects related to electrical engineering and design for water and wastewater treatment facilities for industrial and municipal plants. - And these projects aren't limited to a local scale; they are positioned globally, reflecting our worldwide impact. - You'll be a part of our vibrant WTR Global Practice and work to build technical competence while supporting project execution under the guidance of senior engineers and designers. - Designing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including medium voltage and low voltage power distribution. - Design calculation of transformer, emergency generator, UPS, battery system, cable, and lighting system. - Performing electrical power system studies with load flow, short circuit, motor starting, relay coordination, and arc flash using ETAP. - Preparing single line diagrams, motor schematics, and wiring diagrams. - Preparing layouts like substation equipment, power & cable tray, lighting, grounding, and duct bank. - Preparation of cable schedule and panel board schedule. - Preparation of specification, datasheet, technical bid evaluation, and vendor drawing submittal review. - Good communication skills (verbal & written) and regular meeting with Clients. - Learn and support use of tools like ETAP, Revit, and AutoCAD. - Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across multiple BMcD offices for project execution. - Open to occasional extended working hours based on project needs

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (B.E / B. Tech) from an accredited institute - Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade in the qualifying examination from a reputed university/institute in India - Candidate should be passing out as part of the 2027 batch only - Proficient in the English language. - Prior internship at substation design is preferred. - Computer software knowledge in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other tools.
