About Atomity: Atomity is an early-stage European cloud software company building the Control layer for sovereign cloud decisions. We help regulated organizations make better decisions about where and how their workloads run across cloud, sovereign cloud, and on-premises environments. Our platform focuses on cloud sovereignty, compliance, security, cost, sustainability, and continuous policy enforcement. Role Description: This is a full-time, unpaid, remote internship. As a Technical Recruiter Intern, you will work directly with Atomity's founders and support the hiring of our early technical team. You will help us identify, engage, screen, and coordinate candidates for roles across frontend engineering, backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and related technical areas. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility. You will not only schedule interviews. You will help build Atomity's early recruitment process from the ground up. Exceptional performance may lead to an opportunity for a paid, full-time role as Atomity grows. What You Will Work On: Understand Atomity's technical hiring requirements with the founders Create and improve job descriptions for engineering and technical roles Source candidates through Wellfound, LinkedIn, GitHub, university networks, technical communities, and other channels Review applications and shortlist candidates based on predefined criteria Conduct initial candidate screening calls Evaluate candidates' communication, motivation, availability, and basic role suitability Coordinate technical interviews with the founders and engineering team Maintain an organized recruitment pipeline and candidate database Follow up with candidates and provide a professional candidate experience Prepare candidate summaries and interview notes for the hiring team Build talent pools for future frontend, backend, cloud, DevOps, and product roles Support internship and university recruitment campaigns Assist with employer-branding content and recruitment posts Track basic recruitment metrics such as applications, response rates, interviews, and successful hires Help improve Atomity's recruitment process as the company scales Roles You May Recruit For: Frontend Engineers using React, Next.js, and TypeScript Backend Engineers using Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, NATS, and gRPC Cloud and DevOps Engineers working with Docker and Kubernetes Product, design, data, and technical internship roles Future full-time technical and commercial positions You are not expected to be a software engineer. However, you should be interested in learning what these roles involve and how to identify suitable candidates. Requirements: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field Strong written and spoken English Genuine interest in technical recruitment and startup hiring Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate confidently with candidates Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Ability to handle candidate information professionally and confidentially Willingness to learn basic technical concepts related to software engineering and cloud computing Reliable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership Availability to collaborate during Central European Time working hours Nice to Have: Previous recruitment, HR, sales, customer service, or community-management experience Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, Wellfound, GitHub, or job portals Basic understanding of frontend, backend, cloud, DevOps, or software engineering roles Familiarity with terms such as React, Golang, APIs, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud computing Experience using Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, or an applicant-tracking system Experience working with a startup, recruitment agency, student organization, or university placement team Knowledge of the European or Indian technology talent market Experience writing candidate outreach messages or job advertisements What You Will Learn: How end-to-end technical recruitment works in a technology startup How to understand and recruit for different engineering roles How to source candidates beyond traditional job applications How to conduct structured screening interviews How to evaluate candidate suitability using hiring scorecards How to manage a recruitment pipeline How founders make early-stage hiring decisions How employer branding and candidate experience affect hiring How to build recruitment processes that can scale with a company How a European B2B SaaS and cloud technology company builds its initial team What We Offer: Direct collaboration with Atomity's founders Real recruitment responsibility rather than observation-only work Experience helping build the early team of a European technology startup High ownership and exposure to startup decision-making Formal internship joining or appointment letter Internship experience certificate after successful completion Professional reference or recommendation based on performance Support with future employment references where appropriate Opportunity to build a strong portfolio of technical recruitment work Flexible remote working environment Potential opportunity for a paid, full-time position as Atomity scales Who This Role Is Suitable For: This internship is suitable for someone who wants to build a career in technical recruitment, talent acquisition, startup operations, or human resources.
