What if your favourite sitcom character became a CEO?
THE FICTIONAL CEOs is a business presentation competition that challenges participants to transform an iconic fictional character's personality, strengths, quirks and leadership style into a complete business.
Participants will choose a character from a curated list of popular sitcoms and series, build a business around them, develop a strategic presentation and present their company in character.
But the real challenge begins in the Boardroom.
After the presentation, judges will challenge participants with questions and hypothetical business situations. Teams will have to defend their business decisions while staying true to the personality and leadership style of their chosen character.
What You Have To Do:
- Choose an approved fictional character as your CEO.
- Build a business that naturally reflects the character.
- Develop a business presentation covering the company, target market, business model, marketing, leadership and competitive strategy.
- Present your business in character.
- Face the Boardroom Q&A and defend your decisions as your chosen CEO.
Competition Guidelines:
- Team Size: 1–3 participants
- Presentation: Maximum 10 slides
- Presentation Time: 5–7 minutes
- Boardroom Q&A: Following the presentation
- Each team can use characters from one show.
- Character representation through attire and/or characterisation will get additional points
- Characters outside the official list require prior approval.
- There is no fixed budget requirement.
- All content must be original.
- Judges' decision will be final and binding.
