BARTER MANIA is a two-round competition designed to take you from the basics of commerce to the heart of real-world decision-making. From a fast-paced online quiz testing your commerce, finance, general awareness and aptitude to an immersive offline trade and barter challenge, every round will test a different side of your commercial thinking.
Because in the real world:

Stages & Timelines
Round 1: The Commerce Sprint- Online Quiz
The first round is your entry into the world of BARTER MANIA. A 10-minute online quiz comprising 15 questions will test your basic understanding of: Commerce & business

Economics
Quantitative aptitude Logical reasoning General awarenes Don't expect an impossible finance exam. The questions are designed to test basic conceptual understanding, awareness and quick thinking.

The highest-performing participants/teams will qualify for the offline round.
Round 2: The Trading Floor- Offline Finale
This is where commerce leaves the screen. Shortlisted participants will be invited to Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College for a live, on-campus commerce simulation. You will enter a market where resources are scarce, requirements are different and every decision has a price. Teams will be given different resources and financial positions. You'll have to buy, sell, barter, negotiate and strategise to secure the resources you need and maximise your position. The team that understands the market, negotiates the smartest deals and makes the right decisions under pressure will emerge victorious.

Who Can Participate? Open to college students Students from all academic backgrounds are welcome Cross-college participation can be allowed Team size: 2-3 A participant can be part of only one team.
Rules & Guidelines
Round 1 will be conducted online through the Unstop platform. Round 1 will consist of 15 questions to be attempted in 10 minutes. Round 1 will be eliminatory. Shortlisted participants/teams will be informed about the offline round through their registered contact details. The offline round will be conducted at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, New Delhi. Participants qualifying for Round 2 must be physically present at the venue at the stipulated time. Detailed rules and mechanics of the trade/barter simulation will be communicated before the commencement of Round 2. Any form of malpractice will result in immediate disqualification. The decision of the organising committee shall be final and binding in all matters. The organisers reserve the right to modify the format, timelines or structure of the competition, if required.
