Overview
Get ready to test your cybersecurity skills at the TENET Capture The Flag (CTF) event, organized by the IOIT ACM Student Chapter. This 6-hour, Jeopardy-style competition is designed to challenge participants across multiple cybersecurity domains.
Competition Format
- Mode: Hybrid (Online + Offline).
- Team Size: 1 to 3 members.
- Participation Fees: ₹250 for solo and ₹450 per team.
- Number of Questions: 25 challenges.
Challenge Categories
Participants will tackle challenges in the following domains:
- Web.
- Forensics.
- Cryptography.
- Reverse Engineering.
- Miscellaneous / OSINT.
Scoring & Evaluation
- Points: Challenges carry predefined points based on their difficulty level.
- Dynamic Scoring: Points for certain challenges will gradually decrease as more teams solve them, rewarding faster and unique problem-solving.
- First Blood: An extra point bonus will be awarded to the first team that solves a specific challenge.
- Ranking & Tie-Breaker: Teams are ranked by their total points. In the event of a tie, the team that reached the score earlier will be ranked higher.
Rules & Guidelines
- Flags must be solved exclusively by the team; sharing solutions or flags between teams is strictly prohibited.
- The use of pre-solved write-ups, online solutions, or third-party assistance is not allowed.
- Participants are permitted to use personal laptops, virtual machines (VMs), and open-source tools unless explicitly restricted.
- Any unethical behavior, including DDoS attacks, interfering with infrastructure, or brute-force attacks on the platform, will result in immediate disqualification.
- Unless mentioned otherwise, flags will follow the format CTF{...}.
- The organizers' judgment remains final in case of any disputes.

- Offline Participants:
- Winner: ₹6000 + Certificate.
- First Runner-Up: ₹4000 + Certificate.
- Second Runner-Up: ₹2000 + Certificate.
- All Participants: Certificate of Participation.
- Online Participants:
- Top 5 Teams: In-kind vouchers and courses.

- 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM: Competition (Teams attempt challenges & submit flags).
- 04:00 PM - 04:15 PM: Score Freeze & Verification.
- 04:30 PM - 05:00 PM: Closing Ceremony & Prize Distribution.
