XPitch is a venture capital case competition that challenges participants to step into the shoes of a VC investment team and make high-stakes investment decisions. Participants will evaluate emerging startups, assess market opportunities, analyse business models and financial performance, and identify the ventures with the strongest potential for scalable growth and long-term returns.
Through a case-based format inspired by real-world venture capital decision-making, teams will develop an investment thesis, conduct due diligence, evaluate valuations and risks, and recommend an investment strategy backed by data and strategic reasoning.
The challenge goes beyond identifying promising businesses: participants must justify where to invest, why to invest, how much to invest, and what it would take to generate meaningful returns.
XPitch aims to test analytical rigour, commercial judgment, financial acumen, and the ability to make compelling, evidence-backed investment decisions under uncertainty.
The objective is simple: think like a venture capitalist, evaluate like an investor, and build a case for the next big bet.
