Opportunity brief

Overview

Speak Up Your Resume is a speaking competition designed to help participants understand themselves better and confidently communicate their skills, experiences, goals and personality. Your resume tells people what you have done; this competition gives you a platform to tell people who you are.

Eligibility

  • Open to everyone
  • Students, freshers, professionals, job seekers and creators can participate
  • No specific educational qualification or work experience required

How it works

- Create a 1–3 minute video presenting yourself and your resume. Talk about your skills, experiences, achievements, goals, personality and what makes you unique. The goal is not to simply read your resume, but to turn it into a clear and engaging personal story.

Submission Guidelines

  • Video duration: 1–3 minutes
  • Content must be original and based on your own resume and story
  • Upload your video on Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok or another social platform
  • Tag Whiral in your public post
  • Register through the competition registration form and submit your video link

Private Submission Option

- Not comfortable posting your video publicly? You can upload your video to YouTube as Private and paste the video link in the registration form. Your submission can still be considered without making the video publicly visible.

Winners & Awards

  • For every 1,000 registrations, 2 winners will be announced, after which a new cycle will begin.
  • Best Speaker Award — For exceptional communication, presentation and resume-pitch delivery.
  • Most Viral View Award — For the participant whose submission receives the highest views across social media.

Why participate?

- Improve your ability to speak about yourself, understand your strengths, strengthen your interview and self-presentation skills, communicate your value effectively, and showcase your personality, experiences and story.

Speak up. Tell your story. Let people know YOU.
