About the Company
VMKART is hiring an Accountant to support accurate financial operations within its manufacturing business. This full-time role is open to freshers and experienced candidates who want to build or apply their accounting expertise in a structured business environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, invoices, vouchers, and supporting financial records.
- Record and reconcile daily transactions, receipts, payments, and bank entries.
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, ledger maintenance, and expense tracking.
- Prepare routine financial summaries and reports for internal review.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities and help resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with internal teams to collect documentation and clarify accounting items.
- Follow company procedures, protect confidential information, and support applicable compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Open to freshers and candidates with prior accounting experience.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and an organized working style.
- Comfort with spreadsheets and accounting or enterprise finance systems.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work responsibly in a manufacturing environment.
- Relevant education or practical exposure in accounting, commerce, or finance is beneficial.
The position is based in Bangalore and offers a monthly salary of ₹20,000 to ₹40,000, based on experience and the hiring assessment.
