CAPTURE THE FLAG (CTF 4.0) | Events | Gravitas '26
Capture The Flag 4.0 (CTF 4.0) is IEEE ComSoc VIT's flagship team-based tech hunt that combines strategy, teamwork, problem-solving, and quick thinking in an exciting campus-wide challenge.
Participants will compete across multiple rounds, beginning with a rapid-fire challenge before strategically hiding and hunting flags across designated campus zones.
Event Structure
Round 1 – Preliminary Challenge
Teams will face an 8-question rapid-fire quiz with a 15-minute time limit. The faster a team completes the challenge, the greater its head start in the next phase.
Round 2 – Flag Hiding Phase
Teams will strategically hide their assigned flags within designated campus zones under volunteer supervision. Teams must plan carefully while following all safety guidelines and instructions.
Round 3 – Capture The Flag Hunt
Once all flags have been hidden, the hunt begins. Teams must navigate the campus, locate and capture opposing teams' flags, and maximize their score through strategy and teamwork.
The scores from all four slots will be consolidated, with the overall winners announced after the final slot on 19 September.
Event Registration Fee: ₹200 per ticket (excluding GST)
Event Schedule
18 September & 19 September 2026
Two slots will be conducted each day:
- Slot 1: 9:30 AM
- Slot 2: 2:00 PM
Each slot consists of all three rounds.

Participants must follow designated zones, safety guidelines, and volunteer instructions throughout the event. Tampering with other teams' flags, damaging campus property, unfair practices, or misconduct may result in penalties or disqualification.
