Capital Hunt 2.0 – FreshMinds, under graVITas'26, is a startup ideation and pitching platform that provides aspiring innovators and entrepreneurs with an opportunity to present original ideas, receive expert evaluation and feedback, and take the first step towards transforming their concepts into impactful ventures.
Participants can submit innovative solutions addressing real-world challenges across three key verticals:
AI & Machine Learning (AI & ML)
Med-Tech
Internet of Things (IoT)

The competition will be conducted in three stages:
Stage 1 – Online Idea Submission | 20 August 2026 (Tentative)
External participants must first complete their registration through the official graVITas'26 event page. Once registration is completed, the organizers will communicate the idea submission process, submission link, and further instructions to the registered participants.
Participants must submit their original startup idea within the specified deadline.
Stage 2 – Online Screening of Ideas | 22 August 2026
All submitted ideas will undergo an online screening and evaluation based on the specified judging criteria. The evaluation will assess the innovation, feasibility, market potential, impact, and overall potential of the submitted ideas.
Following the screening process, shortlisted teams will be invited to participate in the Offline Finals.
Stage 3 – Offline Finals | 26 August 2026
Shortlisted teams will be invited to the Offline Finals at VIT Vellore, where they will pitch their ideas before an expert evaluation panel and receive valuable feedback and mentorship.
The Top 3 teams in each vertical will be recognized for their innovative potential. Selected eligible teams may also have the opportunity to receive Product Development Funding of up to ₹50,000, subject to the applicable evaluation, approval, and funding process.

The competition is open to participants with new and original ideas.
Each team must consist of 2–3 members and may submit only one idea.
The submitted idea must be original and must not have been previously submitted to Capital Hunt 2.0 – FreshMinds.
External participants must complete their registration through the official graVITas'26 event page within the specified deadline.
Registered participants must follow the instructions communicated by the organizers regarding the online idea submission.
All information provided during registration, idea submission, and pitching must be accurate and authentic.
Plagiarism, duplication, misrepresentation, or submission of another person's work will result in disqualification.
All submitted ideas will undergo the Online Screening of Ideas on 22 August 2026. Only shortlisted teams will be invited to participate in the Offline Finals on 26 August 2026.
Shortlisted teams must be available to attend the Offline Finals as per the schedule and instructions communicated by the organizers.
The Top 3 teams in each vertical will be recognized. Eligible teams may receive Product Development Funding of up to ₹50,000, subject to the applicable evaluation, approval, and funding process.
The decision of the evaluation panel and organizing committee shall be final and binding.
The organizers reserve the right to modify the event schedule, format, or rules if required.
