Student Venture Startup
A startup competition where participants have to pitch their startup ideas to judges, just like Shark Tank! Creative, unique, and practical ideas with real-world potential will be shortlisted. Selected teams will then imagine they have ₹2.5 lakh and explain how they would allocate the budget across product development, marketing, hiring, operations, and other expenses. The final round will challenge teams with unexpected business situations that they must solve on the spot.
What's In Store?:
- Round 1 — Startup Blueprint: Present your unique startup idea, covering the problem, solution, target customers, business model, competition, and growth plan.
- WHAT TO EXPECT: Showcase your idea through a PPT, prototype, physical model, website/app demo, product mock-up, actual product, or any creative format.
- Round 2 — Build & Grow: Take your startup forward by making strategic decisions on pricing, marketing, hiring, operations, and expansion within your simulated ₹2.5 lakh budget
- Round 3 — Founder Under Fire: Face unexpected business situations and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Plus, expect surprise Founder Bonus Drops — from startup quizzes and elevator pitches to market crashes and secret founder missions.
Guidelines:
- Participation is team-based.
- Teams will begin with a hypothetical capital of ₹2.5 lakh.
- Evaluation will consider innovation, strategy, financial understanding, feasibility, teamwork and presentation.
- Surprise challenges may be introduced during the competition.
- Unfair means or plagiarism may result in disqualification.
- The organisers' and judges' decisions will be final and binding.
