Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining responsive websites and web applications.
- Write clean, well-structured, and reusable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
- Convert UI/UX designs into responsive web pages.
- Work with frameworks/libraries such as React.js when required.
- Assist with basic back-end development and API integration.
- Test websites across different browsers and devices.
- Identify and fix bugs, errors, and performance issues.
- Work with Git and GitHub for version control.
- Assist in website deployment using platforms such as Vercel or similar services.
- Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and basic SEO.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and the digital marketing team.
- Maintain proper documentation of development work.
- Learn and follow coding standards, development practices, and project requirements.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma/course in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or a related field.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic knowledge of responsive web design.
- Familiarity with React.js is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of APIs and JSON.
- Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub.
- Familiarity with databases or back-end technologies is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of website hosting and deployment is preferred.
- Good problem-solving and logical-thinking abilities.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and development tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Role
The Web Development Intern will assist the development team in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining websites and web applications. The intern will work on real-world projects and gain practical experience in front-end and basic back-end development.
