Overview
A strategic coding competition where teams receive virtual currency to bid on hints, additional test cases, extra time, or algorithmic advantages before solving programming problems. The event rewards both programming ability and strategic decision-making.
Eligibility:
Open to all students with programming knowledge. Teams of 2.
Performance Guidelines:
- Each team starts with the same virtual budget.
- Bids are made in auction rounds; the highest bid wins the item.
- Unspent currency may convert to bonus points at the end.
- Supported languages are announced before the event.
Judging Criteria
- Problems solved and points earned (60%)
- Effective use of the budget (25%)
- Time penalties (15%).
