Opportunity brief
Guidelines:
- Eligibility: The competition is open to students from all years and all streams.
- Format: Completely online national business case challenge.
- Inter-college team members allowed: No. This is strictly an individual participation event, so team formations are not applicable.
- Inter-specialization team members allowed: No. (Individual participation only).
- Number of problem statements: One live business case, which features a real company facing a real decision.
- Duration of the rounds: The event spans 3 days in total, taking place from 2nd October to 4th October 2026.
Rules:
- Registration: All participants must register on https://finmaverick.com/partnership/techkriti
- Individual Participation: Participants must compete individually; teams are not permitted.
- Mandatory Briefing: Participants should attend the opening webinar on 2nd October to get the case details and competition ground rules.
- Submission Requirement: Participants must package their recommendations clearly into a deck and submit it before the deadline on 4th October.
- Presentation & Defense: Participants are required to present their strategic recommendation to a panel of industry judges and actively defend it during a Q&A round.
- Evaluation Criteria: Every submission will be strictly judged on four parameters:
- Analysis: Accurately reading the data to identify the core problem.
- Strategy: Turning insights into a practical, working plan.
- Innovation: Presenting an original idea the judges haven't heard before.
- Presentation: Delivering a clear story that is told well and strongly defended.
