Opportunity brief

SYNK SOLVE – ONE IDEATHON is an online ideathon organized by SYNK-F Community, designed to encourage participants to identify problems, develop innovative ideas, and present practical solutions.

Eligibility:

  • Open to college/university students and tech enthusiast.
  • Participants can register individually and form teams, if the event registration format permits.
  • Each team must consist of 1–4 members.
  • Inter-college teams are allowed.
  • Inter-specialization / inter-department teams are allowed.
  • Participants from different academic backgrounds are encouraged to collaborate.
  • All participants must provide accurate details during registration.

Format & Process:

  • Problem Statement Release – 23 September 2025, 10:00 AM
  • Problem statement(s) will be released to registered participants.
  • Ideation & Development – 23–25 September 2025
  • Teams analyse the problem and develop their proposed solution.
  • Solution Submission Deadline – 25 September 2025, 11:59 PM
  • Teams must submit their final solution before the deadline.
  • Expert Evaluation – 26 September to 1 October 2025
  • Submitted solutions will be evaluated by the expert jury.
  • Winner Announcement – 2 October 2025
  • Winners, 1st Runner-Up and 2nd Runner-Up will be announced.

Problem Statements:

  • The number and nature of problem statements will be communicated to registered participants at the time of release.
  • Teams may work on the problem statement assigned/selected according to the official event instructions.

Submission:

  • Each team must submit its solution within the specified deadline.
  • Submission instructions and required format will be communicated along with the problem statement.
  • Late submissions may not be considered for evaluation.

Evaluation:

  • Solutions may be evaluated based on factors such as:
  • Understanding of the problem
  • Innovation and originality
  • Feasibility of the proposed solution
  • Practical impact
  • Clarity and completeness of the submission

Rules:

  • Each participant can be part of only one team.
  • Each team must have 1–4 members.
  • Inter-college and inter-specialization teams are permitted.
  • All submitted work must be original and created by the participating team.
  • Plagiarism or direct copying of existing solutions may lead to disqualification.
  • Teams must submit their solutions within the announced deadline.
  • Any attempt to manipulate the evaluation process or provide misleading information may result in disqualification.
  • Participants are responsible for ensuring that the information provided during registration is accurate.
  • The decision of the expert jury will be final.
  • The organizers reserve the right to modify the schedule or event guidelines if necessary, with appropriate communication to participants.
  • By participating, teams agree to follow the official instructions and code of conduct of the event.
