Stripe is hiring for the role of Software Engineer Intern!
Responsibilities of the Intern:
- Ship real production code that has a direct impact on Stripe's systems
- Take part in code reviews and design discussions, giving and receiving technical feedback
- Work with engineers and cross-functional partners, proactively incorporating their input
- Learn fast by asking questions and clearly communicating progress to your intern manager and team
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in CS, math, or a related field, with strong CS fundamentals
- Some hands-on programming experience (coursework or personal projects); core stack is Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, Go
- Prior internship or multi-person project experience (including open source), showing you can act on feedback from mentors/peers
- Able to pick up unfamiliar systems independently, with support from a mentor
