About Shipwreck
Participants are assigned different characters with specific backgrounds, roles, or abilities and placed in a simulated shipwreck scenario with limited survival resources. Each participant must present a case explaining why their character should be chosen for survival, while also challenging and responding to the arguments of other participants.
The discussion progresses through multiple rounds, with participants required to adapt to new situations or constraints introduced by the coordinators. The event evaluates communication, logical reasoning, persuasion, creativity, spontaneity, and decision-making under pressure.
Event Rounds
- Round 1 – Character Introduction: Participants are assigned a character and given time to understand their role. Each participant introduces their character, background, abilities, and initial justification for survival.
- Round 2 – Survival Debate: Participants defend their characters through counter-arguments and rebuttals, proving why their character brings superior value to society.
- Round 3 – Final Survival Challenge: The remaining participants adapt spontaneously to sudden crises, twists, and resource constraints introduced by the coordinators to make their final case.
Rules & Regulations
- Participation is strictly Individual (Solo).
- Participants will be assigned a character persona and must maintain it throughout the session.
- Obscene, abusive, or vulgar language is strictly prohibited.
- Personal attacks, discrimination, or disruptive conduct will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Evaluation is based on wit, persuasion, logical argumentation, spontaneity, and stage presence.
- The decision of the judges is final and binding.
