About Behind the Crime
Behind the Crime is a non-technical, mystery-based event that challenges participants to analyze clues, connect evidence, identify suspects, and uncover the hidden story behind a crime. The event focuses on logical thinking, observation, teamwork, and critical problem-solving skills in an engaging and competitive format.
Event Rounds
- Round 1 – Crime Scene Investigation: Participants analyze the given clues and crime scene information.
- Round 2 – Evidence & Deduction: Teams connect the evidence, analyze suspect alibis, and identify critical leads.
- Round 3 – Crack the Case: Teams solve the complete mystery and present their final deduction.
Rules & Regulations
- Team size: 3 to 4 members.
- No technical background or coding skills required.
- Teams must work together and submit their findings within the given time limits.
- Any form of unfair means, tampering with clues, or misconduct will result in immediate disqualification.
- Participants must maintain discipline and decorum throughout the event.
- Decisions made by the event coordinators and judges will be final and binding.
