REWIRED – Rethink What You Know
REWIRED is a three-round technical competition that combines hardware problem-solving, strategic decision-making, and Industrial IoT innovation. Teams progress through two preliminary rounds before competing in the final round.
Round 1 – Prelims 1 | Hardware Ctf
Time: 30–40 Minutes
- Teams Solve a Series of Hardware-Based Ctf Challenges.
- Ai Tools Are Allowed Throughout the Competition.
- Valid Flags Earn Coins Based on Difficulty, and Submitted Flags Are Tracked.
- Sharing Answers or Solutions Between Teams Is Prohibited.
- The Organizer's Decision Is Final Regarding Challenge Completion and Scoring.
Round 2 – Prelims 2 | Auction
Time: 15–20 Minutes
- Teams Can Bid only Using the Coins Earned in Round 1.
- All Auction Items Are Revealed Upfront.
- Teams Bid on Their Preferred Items Within the Allotted Time.
- Each Team Can Win only One Item.
- After Winning an Item, the Team Sits out Of the Remaining Auction.
- No Trade-Backs or Bid Modifications Are Permitted.
- The Auctioneer's Decision Is Final Regarding Bids, Timings, and Sales.
Round 3 – Final | Industrial Io T
Time: 1.5 Hours, Including Auction Interruptions
- Industrial Io T Problem Statements Will Be Provided Before the Auction.
- Teams Use the Allotted Time to Ideate, Architect, Build, and Prepare a Ppt.
- Surprise Scenarios May Be Introduced During the Final Round.
- Presentation: maximum 4 Minutes + Q&a.
Ai Policy
- Ai Tools Are Allowed for Technical Research, Architecture Design, and Code Ideation.
- Ai Tools Are Not Permitted for Ppt Generation.

Teams Will Be Evaluated On:
- Ideation
- Workflow / System Architecture
- Ppt & Presentation
- Prototype Bonus
Rewired Challenges Participants to Combine Technical Knowledge, Creative Problem-Solving, Strategic Decision-Making, and Adaptability Under Time Constraints.
