About the Company
Shiksha Vertex helps students and young professionals build industry-relevant capabilities through practical, career-focused upskilling programs. As an Academic Counsellor Intern, you will contribute to a student-first admissions experience while developing strong communication, counselling, and relationship-management skills in the EdTech industry.
Responsibilities
- Connect with prospective students through calls, messages, and other communication channels.
- Understand learners' educational backgrounds, interests, and career aspirations.
- Explain suitable courses, curriculum, training structure, internship opportunities, and placement assistance.
- Counsel students and parents, address queries, handle objections, and maintain professional follow-up.
- Support interested learners throughout the admission process and maintain accurate interaction records.
- Coordinate with sales, training, and placement teams while working toward counselling and admission targets.
Requirements
- Open to freshers and experienced candidates with an undergraduate or graduate background.
- Strong verbal communication, listening, interpersonal, presentation, and convincing skills.
- Interest in student counselling, education, sales, or career guidance.
- Basic computer knowledge, good follow-up habits, and effective time management.
- Ability to work from the Bangalore office and perform in a target-driven environment.
The three-month internship offers a fixed monthly stipend of ₹15,000 along with ₹10,000 in variable pay. The role also provides practical exposure to EdTech, communication training, professional development, and opportunities for career growth.
