Welcome to Engineers 2047, the flagship national hybrid hackathon organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering as part of VISVA-TECH '26 at SATI Vidisha to commemorate National Engineers' Day (Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya's Birth Anniversary).

Under the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, this 2-round hybrid sprint brings together over 250+ top student developers, AI innovators, hardware builders, electrical/electronics innovators, and problem solvers across India to design, prototype, and build scalable solutions for real-world challenges.

Whether you specialize in Electrical & Hardware Systems, Web/App Development, AI/ML models, IoT & Embedded Systems, GreenTech, or FinTech, Engineers 2047 offers the ultimate stage to showcase your technical execution before industry experts, founders, and academic leaders!

Theme: Open Innovation (Solving for 2047 & Beyond)

Engineers 2047 follows an Open Innovation framework—there are no rigid problem statements! Teams are encouraged to identify a genuine real-world problem and build an impactful prototype.

Competition Stages & Format

Round 1: Online PPT & Idea Screening (Elimination Round on Unstop)

- Mode: Fully Online via Unstop

Requirement: Submit a 5–7 slide Pitch Deck / Executive Summary (PPT or PDF) outlining:

  • The real-world problem statement
  • Proposed technical architecture & tech stack / hardware blueprint
  • Novelty, feasibility & impact

Shortlisting: Top teams will be invited to the Round 2 Hybrid Hackathon at SATI Vidisha.

Round 2: The Hybrid Hackathon Sprint (Sept 12–13, 2026)

️ Daytime (On-Campus at SATI Vidisha):

- Teams hack live in central computer labs with access to high-speed campus Wi-Fi, power workstations, hardware testing areas, and faculty/industry mentors from the Department of Electrical Engineering.

Nighttime (Virtual Sprint):

- Hacking transitions online overnight via Discord/Teams so participants can continue development seamlessly from hostels/accommodations with remote milestone checkpoints.

Registration & Hospitality Details

  • ️ Registration Fee: 100% FREE for all participants on Unstop.
  • On-Campus Food & Hospitality Pass (Optional / On-Venue):
  • To ensure seamless catering during the 2-day sprint, an optional ₹250 per person Food Packet Pass (covering 2 full meals across both hacking days) is collected directly at the venue upon campus.
  • Free guest Wi-Fi and designated lab workstations provided for all finalists.

  • 1st Place (Grand Winner): ₹7,000 Cash Prize + Winner Trophy + Certificate of Excellence + Direct Internship Interview Referrals

Eligibility & Guidelines

  • Team Size: 2 to 4 members per team.
  • Eligibility: Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate engineering/technology students across Electrical, CS, IT, AI-DS, ECE, Mechanical, Civil, and allied streams.
  • Inter-College Teams: Members from different colleges or branches are allowed to form a team.
  • Originality: All code, design, and hardware prototypes built during Round 2 must be written/developed during the hackathon timeline. Pre-existing projects will be disqualified.
