About the Competition
- Inter-College Economics Quiz Competition organized by the Department of Economics, Ram Lal Anand College, University of Delhi.
- Open to students from colleges across the country.
- The quiz will test:
- Economic knowledge
- Analytical thinking
- Speed and decision-making skills
- Topics include Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economy, International Economics, Finance, Economic Thinkers & Theories, Economic Current Affairs, and General Economic Awareness.
Team Participation
- Participation is strictly team-based.
- Each team must consist of 2–3 participants.
- Individual participation is not allowed.
- All team members must belong to the same college/institution.
- Participants must provide accurate participant and college details during registration.
- Participants should carry a valid college ID card, if required.
Competition Structure

Round 1 – Quiz Sheet
- Written quiz round for all registered teams. - Tests conceptual and factual understanding of economics. - Teams will qualify for Round 2 based on their scores.

Round 2 – Buzzer Round
- The 12 qualified teams will compete in a 1 vs 1 buzzer format. - Tests speed, accuracy, and presence of mind. - Teams will qualify for the Grand Finale based on their performance.

Round 3 – Grand Finale
- Qualifying teams will compete in the final round. - The round will determine the Winner and Runner-Up.

Rules & Guidelines
- Only team participation is permitted.
- Each team must have 2–3 members.
- No individual participation will be accepted.
- Team members must belong to the same college/institution.
- The competition will consist of three rounds.
- The decision of the Quizmaster and Organising Committee will be final and binding.
- Use of unfair means or misconduct may result in disqualification.
- Detailed rules and instructions for each round will be communicated before the respective round.
- Participants must report within the stipulated reporting time.
- Organisers reserve the right to make necessary changes to the event structure or rules.
Prizes & Certificates
- Winner: ₹1,500
- Runner-Up: ₹1,000
- 2nd Runner-Up: ₹750
- Certificates will be provided to all eligible participants.
