An important note for engineering students: this is a sales role, not a technical or core engineering role. Your engineering background is genuinely useful here — you will discuss specifications with electricians, contractors and consultants — but the job itself is commercial and customer-facing. Please apply only if you want to build a career in sales.
Role brief
This is a field sales role. You will spend most of your working day in the market, not in an office, and you will start in a Tier 3 town or city rather than a metro.
- You will be in the market on roughly 20 to 25 days a month, visiting dealers, distributors and retail outlets.
- A typical day starts in the market by mid-morning and involves visiting 12 to 20 outlets on a fixed beat plan, mostly on a two-wheeler and on foot.
- You will be placed in a Tier 3 town or city where we have business — not a metro, and not necessarily your home state. This holds for your initial period. Larger territories in Tier 2 cities come later, for those identified as high potential.
- Saturdays are working days. Market holidays vary by region.
- You will not be designing, testing or working in a plant. If that is what you want, look at our Graduate Engineer Trainee programme in manufacturing instead.
If that sounds like the kind of work you want, read on. If it does not, this is not the right role for you — and that is a perfectly reasonable conclusion to reach.

Eligibility
- 2027 batch B.E. / B.Tech (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Instrumentation), with no active backlogs
- Minimum 60% in 10th, 12th and graduation
- Willing to build a career in sales rather than in a core engineering or technical function
What we look for
- Genuine interest in the technical side of the product — you will need to hold your own with an electrician, a contractor or a consultant
- Patience and persistence. Demand creation does not pay off immediately.
- The ability to build trust with people whose background is very different from your own
- Willingness to travel and to relocate.
Who this role suits
- You want your engineering knowledge to be useful in a commercial role
- You are good at building relationships and willing to invest time in them

Who it does not suit
- You want to work in design, R&D, production or plant operations
- You want quick wins and short cycles
- You dislike site environments, or are uncomfortable working closely with electricians and contractors on the ground
