Peakflo is hiring for the role of Human Resources Intern!
Responsibilities of the Intern:
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner directly with cross-functional leaders across Product, Technical, Operations, Sales and Customer Success to map out hiring needs, define core competencies, and write compelling, accurate job descriptions.
- Proactive Sourcing & Screening: Drive top-of-funnel candidate sourcing via LinkedIn, job boards, and tech events. Conduct initial screening calls to assess baseline technical skills (ranging from Machine Learning and Full-Stack Engineers to GTM roles) and ensure cultural alignment.
- System & Workflow Management: Leverage and help refine our AI-driven Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and internal workflows. You will be responsible for maintaining candidate databases, ensuring 100% data integrity, and tracking every stage of the recruitment lifecycle.
- Employer Branding & Candidate Care: Serve as the face of the company for applicants. You will facilitate a high-touch, world-class experience from the first message to the final offer, while actively driving initiatives to maintain our top-tier employer rating on platforms like Glassdoor.
- End-to-End Lifecycle Support: Orchestrate memorable, seamless onboarding experiences for new hires, manage day-to-day HR administrative inquiries, and ensure off-boarding processes are handled smoothly and securely.
- Payroll & Compliance Execution: Assist with critical monthly financial operations by preparing, editing, and uploading payroll files, while coordinating seamlessly with external bookkeeping partners.
- Audit & Asset Management: Play a hands-on role in maintaining our operational rigor. You will help track device compliance for hardware assets and assist with internal audits to ensure zero-error SOC 2 compliance readiness.
- Performance Tracking: Support the administration of quarterly performance review cycles, helping to compile the data and metrics that drive annual progressions, promotions, and compensation planning.
- Engagement Initiatives: Brainstorm, spearhead, and execute monthly employee engagement activities designed to build camaraderie and maintain a vibrant culture across a global, distributed team.
- Internal Communications: Draft and standardize HR communications, ensuring policies, quarterly refreshers, and company-wide updates are communicated clearly through our internal channels and orientation sessions.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: A recent graduate or early-career professional with a degree in MBA (Human Resources), HRDM, Industrial / Organisational / Business Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience Range: 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition, People Operations, or HR administration, ideally within a high-velocity AI, tech or startup environment.
