Opportunity Description
- Participate in the National Mediation Competition 2026, organised by the STEM Department, NIMS University Rajasthan.
- Open to eligible students from recognised universities, law schools, and colleges.
- Form a team of 3 members comprising a Client/Party Representative, Counsel, and Mediator.
- Compete in preliminary and elimination rounds through structured mediation sessions.
- Demonstrate skills in negotiation, client counselling, impartial facilitation, and interest-based dispute resolution.
- Develop practical abilities in communication, conflict management, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Experience mediator rotation, confidential briefs, and realistic dispute-resolution scenarios under the official Rules of Procedure.
- Maintain professional conduct, impartiality, and confidentiality throughout the competition.
