Brainwave Bonanza is the logic and aptitude competition of Addovedi 2026 (NIT Arunachal Pradesh). Teams solve logic, aptitude and technical problems under strict time limits across 3 rounds worth 100 points. Ranked on accuracy, speed and quality of reasoning. Held on campus, 28-30 October 2026.
Guidelines
- Eligibility: undergraduate and graduate students from any field; valid student ID required.
- Team size: up to 3 members (1 to 3). One entry per team. Same members in every round, no substitutions.
- Inter-college / inter-specialization: allowed. Open to all branches.
- Rounds: Screening Quiz (20), Puzzle Gauntlet (50), Rapid Forge (30), buzzer-style final.
- Not allowed: phones, smartwatches, calculators (unless allowed), internet, notes, and AI tools.
- Registration: sign up on the Addovedi website, register for Brainwave Bonanza to get your Team ID, then register on Unstop with the Team ID + the leader's Addovedi ID.
- Registration fee: Rs. 50 per member (Rs. 50 for 1, Rs. 100 for 2, Rs. 150 for 3).
- Prize pool: Rs. 8,000 cash (total worth Rs. 25,000 including hoodies).
Rules
- No cheating or prohibited devices. = immediate disqualification and no prizes.
- No talking to other teams or taking outside help during a round.
- Report 15 minutes early. Late teams may get no extra time.
- Submit answer sheets the moment time is called.
- The organisers' answer key is final. Challenges only in writing, right after the round.
- Wrong answers in the final may carry negative marking.
- Plagiarism disqualifies the whole team.
- Judges' and organisers' decisions are final. Rules may be modified and will be communicated.
